Doctor Whooves Quest: Van Applesing

             “Save me form the shadows,” the Doctor read form his psychic paper and then showed coordinate.  The Doctor then started up tardis and it two centuries into the past in mansion on the edged of Ponyville.  In the mansion there were two earth ponies skeleton.  One of the skeletons was a male and the other skeleton was a female.  There was also a teen-age female unicorn that was cover in shadows.
             “Go away before the shadows consume you,” said the female unicorn in a distorted voice.  It then sent shadow sphere that teleported the Doctor four miles outside the mansion.  By the time the Doctor made his way back to the mansion forty minuets pass.  Next he went into the tardis.  He then brought out four blue orbs and a super charge flashlight.  He set the orbs around the room and he turned them on lighting the room up.  Ten minuets latter two male ponies enter the room.  One was a brown earth pony know as Van Applesing.  The other was a blue unicorn name Stormboom.  “Stay in the light, the killer is hiding in the shadows.  If you have two shadows then your dead,” said the earth pony.
             “Who are you and want are you thinking messing up a crime scene,” demanded Stormboom.  “I am the Doctor. I’m sorry so sorry,” said the Doctor.  “What that suppose to mean,” asked Stormboom?  “Look down,” replied the Doctor.  Stormboom then looked down to see he had two shadows.  Then the extra shadow covered his entire body leaving nothing but bones.  The false shadow started making it way to Van Applesing and Van Apple sing then shot a gold cross bolt at the false shadow.  The cross bolt exploded creating a bright flash of light causing the false shadow to retreat.
             “Before we move on, I know you know more then what you told me.  What going on,” demanded Van Applesing?  “That thing is a Vashta Nerada.  They are a swarm of microscopic carnivorous beings that live on most plants that have meat.  Their name literally mean shadows that melt the flesh.  If you see a shadow of nothing that is a Vashta Nerada.  Have you heard of a Shadow Mare,” explained the Doctor.   “Yes but I believe that they were a myths,” replied Van Applesing.  “Well when a Vashta Nerada bond itself with female pony that is a Shadow Mare.  I believe that Sunfly is a Shadow Mare and that swarm was just a scout,” said the Doctor.
             Just then a shadow tentacle grabbed Van Applesing.  Next the Doctor shined a super charge flashlight that causes the shadow tentacle to vanish.  Next the Shadow Mare turned into a shadow and it came into the room though the window.  It then sent multiple shadow tentacle at Van Applesing.  The Doctor then shined the super charge flashlight at the Shadow Mare stunning it.  Then Van Applesing shot two cross bolt in front of the Shadow Mare.  They a bright flash of light causing the Vashta Nerada to break its bond and retreat.
             “Now that’s taken care of I’ll be leaving Van Applesing,” said the Doctor.  “How did you now my name? I didn’t tell you it,” asked Van Applesing.  “You wright some interesting books,” said the Doctor as he entered the Tardis and he return to Ponyville.
